Abstract
This thesis is entitled “The Correlation Between Morphological Awareness And Vocabulary Mastery of Fifth Semester of English Language Education Program Study UNISNU Jepara in Academic Year 2020/2021”. The aim of this research is to investigate the correlation between morphological awareness and vocabulary mastery of fifth semester of English Language Education study program UNISNU Jepara in academic year 2020/2021. The researcher used quantitaive research and correlation study as the research design .The instruments were Morphological awareness test and vocabulary level test. The respondents of this research were 47 students of English Language Education of UNISNU Jepara in academic year 2020/2021. The result of calculation showed that coeficient correlation was higher than the critical value of r table in significant level 1 %( 0,88 > 0,331). The result indicates that the correlation is high. Therefore , it can be concluded that there is correlation between morphological awareness and vocabulary mastery. It implied that morphological awareness can be applied as learning strategy of increasing students’ vocabulary mastery.
