The purpose of this research is to find out wheter or not the impact of using clustering technique in learning recount text toward students’ writing skill. The subject of this reaerch is eight graders. The researcher uses descriptive research as a method in conducting this research. The instruments that were used in this research were observatio, interview, questionnair, and students writing or test. The students could memorize their experience by connecting main topic to another topic. The impact from the first test and the second test, it can be seen from the result. In the first test, the everage score is 66,5. Then, in the second test is 74,3. It can be conclude that the implementation of clustering technique could gave the impact to the students writing of grade VIII of junior high school Al-Muhajirin Plajan Pakis Aji Jepara.
