Abstract
The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using Tutorial Video at eleventh grade of MA Masalikil Huda 01 Tahunan Jepara in the Academic Year of 2018/2019. This research used quantitative approach with experimental method. The researcher used quasi-experimental design. The sampling technique used in this study was sample random technique sampling. The population was all the students at eleventh-grade students of MA Masalikil Huda 01 Tahunan Jepara in the Academic Year of 2018/2019. The sample were picked out from population and they were divided into two class. The first class is Experimental class (XI IS 1) and the other class is Control class (XI IS 2) The experimental class were taught by Tutorial Video while the control class were not. The data got from both Experimental class and Control Class that were analysed by using T-Test formula. The results of the research show that; the students who were taught using Tutorial Video has higher score in procedure text writing than the students who were taught by using textbooks. Furthermore, the research showed the mean of student’s post-test for experimental class is 74,50 and for control class is 60,50. It shows that there was significant difference between the students who were taught by using tutorial Video and those were taught by using textbooks. The result of t-test showed that t score is higher (11.617) than t table (2.074). Based on the explanation above, the researcher concludes that using Tutorial Video is effective to improve students writing ability in writing procedure text at eleventh grade student’s MA Masalikil Huda Tahunan
