Abstract

This thesis is entitledStudents’ Perception toward English Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic in the Eleventh Grades Students Of SMA N 1 Bangsri in the Academic Year 2021/2022. This research direct to find out the perception of the students of English Online Learning in the midts of Covid19 pandemic. The participants were 40 students of social class, Eleventh grades students of SMA N 1 Bangsri Jepara who have been selected by simple random sampling technique. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. In collecting data, the researcher used observation, interview and questionnaire.The result of this research was presented descriptively in order to reveal the students' perception and motivation comprehensively. The researcher found English Online learning gotmore dominant negative perception than positive perception.Because it is lack of explanation from the teacher and students were being lazy and procrastinate the assignments.From the result the researcher concluded that students did not enjoy English Online Learning and they have difficulty in understanding the lesson.
