Abstract

This thesis is entitled The Use of Fly Swatter Game in Teaching Vocabulary (A Descriptive Study at The Seventh Grade Students of MTs. Roudlotul Ulum Suwawal Mlonggo in the Academic Year of 2018/2019). This study directs to find the implementation of fly swatter game in teaching vocabulary. The subject of the study was the seventh grade students of MTs. Roudlotul Ulum Suwawal Mlonggo. There were 36 students, 14 female and 22 male students. The writer also got data about the supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching vocabulary using fly swatter game. The writer used descriptive – qualitative method in conducting the research. The researcher used observation and interview in collecting the data. The observation was conducted two times to know the implementation of fly swatter game in teaching vocabulary. To know the supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching vocabulary by using fly swatter game, the writer also doing the interview with the teacher. Based on the research, the writer concluded that Fly Swatter Game is an interesting and simple game. This game made students more enjoyed and motivated in teaching learning process. The teacher also can use fly swatter game to improve students’ vocabulary.
